I'm a Georgia girl who'd rather be in cut-off shorts and a T-shirt than having to dress up for the office. Three quarters of my adulthood in an office was enough. i now can realize my dream of sipping coffee on the front porch while it rains on a Monday morning and have the mental space to think about my next writing venture. Or what herbs and food to grow as well as ongoing research on natural health alternatives, a long-time passion.
I've endured my fair share of heartaches, betrayal, hardships, and disappointments. God was faithful through all of it and is faithful today in escorting me beyond middle age.
I've always loved to read. I was the girl in high school who visited the library and walked down the hall between classes with my nose in a book.
Being outside is solace for me. I used to sneak away into the woods behind my house and lean against a pine tree while I did my homework.
I love social gatherings and being around people, but solitude is medicine to me.
I started writing over 30 years ago in my journals. No one, except God, knows what was recorded in those pages. What began as a form of therapy, turned into 4 novels, and numerous contributions for a local newspaper, magazine, and several anthologies.
Journey to the Forgotten Coast turned into a 3-book series that includes Island of Refuge and Seaside Rescue. If you need a good beach read, hop on over to Amazon here: Amazon.com : Terri Webster books. You'll also see my most recent novel, Dawn's Light.
I live with my husband, Donnie, in rural Georgia on 5 acres. We love to camp, travel and spend time with family and friends. We have four grown children and five grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
